K-9: A dog-eat-dog perspective -
Staff Sgt Robert Starkweather makes some playtime for his partner [MWD] Diego Nov. 1 at Kirkuk Regional Air Base, Iraq. Diego, a 6-year-old Belgium Malinois is a military working dog. Sergeant Starkweather and Diego are assigned to the 506th Expeditionary security Forces Squadron/K-9 Unit. They are both deployed from Misawa Air Base, Japan.
